Perhaps the most common method of creating spatial photos and videos is with two side-by-side fisheye lenses. Examples are the Canon VR lens system, recording on one sensor, and the upcoming Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive, rumored to be two sensors.

For this test I am using 2 Panasonic Lumix G7 cameras and iZugar fisheye. The workflow is going to be similar for any camera pair that records a circular fisheye image.

Checkout how MV-HVEC works on web pages, you can tap the play button to play flat, but also go to a more immersive player complete with option environment background by clicking the expanding arrows in the top left corner!

Right now this only works on Apple Vision Pro, and Safari on Mac.

Post Processing

I process the resulting footage in Blackmagic Fusion Studio standalone using the KartaVR plugins available via Reactor.
