“The Largest Showcase of Hispanic Culture in Arkansas”
The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) 750 Council is sponsoring the 15th annual LULAC Cinco de Mayo Fiesta. We will host the fiesta at the Clinton Presidential Center Park in Little Rock, on May 4th, 2013. The theme of the festival will be a celebration of the Latino Culture in Central Arkansas providing the opportunity for native Arkansans to become better acquainted with the rich culture and history of Latin American countries.
The festival will offer live entertainment, folkloric ballet, mariachis, rumba and salsa dance, face painting, inflatable bouncers, children’s games, pinatas, youth soccer, golf and tennis clinics.
This year we will also be featuring a very special Food Truck Festival with the best in gourmet food trucks, as well as the best international and authentic Mexican food from around the city served right in downtown Little Rock. Plus, we’ll have the best margaritas in Little Rock courtesy of Margaritaville.
This year’s festivities will feature performances from Arkansas’s own Grupo F5, Chico Style from Dallas, Texas and the Cuban sounds of Niris. Check out the entire line-up of performers on our Entertainment page!
All proceeds go to higher education scholarships including the Patricia Guardado Scholarship fund at UALR.
In case of rain, the fiesta will be held Sunday, May 5th.
